Este galard\u00f3n reconoce, seg\u00fan nos transmitieron los organizadores, la labor realizada por Aefat y sus colaboradores en la zona para \"recaudar fondos y generar nuevas iniciativas para investigar la ataxia telangiectasia, una enfermedad rara que afecta a 40 personas en el Estado\".
